Bagry Beach (Plaża Bagry) is one of Kraków’s most popular summer spots — a sandy urban beach located on the shores of Bagry Wielkie reservoir in the Płaszów district. Just a short distance from the city center, it offers swimming areas, walking paths, water sports, and green spaces for relaxing by the water.
Originally created from a former gravel pit, the reservoir gradually transformed into one of Kraków’s largest recreational lakes. Today, reeds, open water, and lakeside paths create a completely different atmosphere from the historic center.
